John Gambacorta is the author of the Rising from the Ashes memoir trilogy, a deeply personal exploration of trauma, resilience, and emotional rebirth. This page shares the experiences and inspiration that shaped his work. John Gambacorta holds a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and a Masters Degree in Law. He spent a decade working in law enforcement related fields and as a senior paralegal before traumatic brain injury–related challenges forced him to step away from the career he had built. Seeking solitude and a different kind of clarity, he turned to trucking, where the quiet miles gave him the space to confront the past he had spent years avoiding.
